We have never met, but you photographed the wedding and reception of my cousin, Cathie’s son, Tony Puzan, on July 27th. I have seen your images on Cathie’s Facebook page and been so moved and amazed by what you photographed.
What your photos depicted weren’t portraits of people, they were so much more. They were like the pictures from Harry Potter in which the subjects were still living those moments in time. You captured ALL the emotions those moments held. And not just the emotions of the bride and the groom and their families; you were able to encapsulate moments between best friends and lovers and old married couples as well. You caught not only the expected emotions like joy and hope and pride, but even the more subtle emotions of anxiety and nervousness that accompany all of life’s big changes. I looked into those faces and I felt all their emotions right along with them. It was like magic. Well, let’s face it, it IS magic - it is your gift.
Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that a stranger in Southern California was moved and awed by your work. And more importantly, I wanted to thank you for letting me experience Tony’s and Angela’s wedding, even though I was unable to be there. Your gift is a blessing and I know you will be richly rewarded for using it to bring joy others.
